Charlotte was a rescue that was adopted from Carolina Border Collie Rescue in April 2000. She was approximately 8-12 weeks of age. She was a border collie mix (most likely with spaniel). She competed for the first time in flyball at the age of one. We used to get laughs because her motivator was a children’s tiger nap mat. It was bigger than she was. She was also a dog that would run for anyone which was quite useful as we had other dogs running so there were many tourneys that we had to find handlers for her. She also loved Frisbee and swimming.
You always hear that there is that one dog that is your soul mate and that was Charlotte.
She was never a healthy dog and was unfortunately taken from us way too early. She died when she was 4.5 yrs old from GI Tract Lymphoma within 3 months of diagnosis.
